Vet Nurse With Years of Experience!

Pet care experience

I'm an animal lover who grew up caring for different types of animals (dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, etc). I've worked in the veterinary field an assistant for a few years and gained lots of experience with animal handling and care. I also perform basic grooming, which is baths and nail trims - no haircuts or anal gland expression. I enjoy caring for different species (canine, feline, scaly friends, small furry friend, and feathered ones) and I offer medical care as well, so if you have a senior pet with special needs or with chronic issues, I can administer medication and provide the custom care they need. I live in a large family home with a fenced yard. I ensure all the doggies get plenty of love, attention, and exercise daily. Walks are provided on top of supervised doggie playtime in the backyard. Meal time is organized so everyone is fed separately to ensure safety. I also make sure that shy small dogs have separate play time from large dogs to avoid injuries. Everyone’s safety is my top priority. I accommodate every dog’s needs and do my best to recreate the schedule that they are used to at home for a stress-free and happy stay If you want to make sure that your pet is well taken care of by someone who has the knowledge and skills, then I am the perfect choice! I'll treat your pet as if they were my own. Pet care is a daily part of my routine and has been for years. My entire day is designed to fit everyone’s needs and include lots of time for exercise, play time, snuggles, walks, feeding, and potty breaks. Add-on fees: House Sitting: My basic house sitting includes 2 drop-in visits during the day + 10 to 12 hours of overnight care. If you require that I stay at your home all day, then my rate for that is $200/day for one pet and $250/day for 2-4 pets. My pricing is set this way as the booking blocks my availability to care for other pets. Medication administration: Oral/topical medication: $5 per day Injectable medication: $5 per injection Fluid administration: $20 per administration Food: *If your pet runs out of food during their stay I am able to provide food of my own for $3 per day. Please make sure to plan ahead, especially if your pet is on a special diet. *For pets that are on a raw diet there will be an extra $5 per day fee to account for special handling, storage, and sanitation due to food safety concerns. Grooming: Bath & brush (includes nail trim): $20-$70 depending on dog size/fur. Nail trim: $15 Anal gland expression: $30 Errands: Accounts for whenever I need to leave the house to provide a service for your dog such as pick up food, medication, take to the vet or groomer: $20 per hour + $1 per mile traveled *if errand takes less than an hour, then the flat rate of $20 for the errand applies* Flea Control: The safety of the pets that stay with me is my top priority - that includes protecting them and my home from parasites. Pets that stay at my house are expected to be on appropriate flea prevention (unless otherwise indicated by their veterinarian). If your dog arrives with a flea infestation, a single dose of Capstar will be given to your dog and a fee will be charged to account for the medication + deep sanitation of my home for a flat fee of $100. *Please let be know ahead of booking if you have any concerns regarding my policies* Dogs are under human supervision 24/7. Meal times are kept separate and play time is controlled to fit every dog’s needs and avoid conflicts. My fenced yard provides security for outdoor play time.

Carol was a great communicator, and she and my kitty appeared to hit it off. I did not worry a bit.

Carol is wonderful! My dog had a great time while boarding at her house (as seen in the many photos she shared with us). Will definitely be booking with her again :)
