Pet care experience
I've taken care of dogs since childhood as we always had dogs at home (our German Shepherd lived a long 14 years with our family!). As an adult, I have had two dogs of my own, a pit bull and a terrier, Maza and Pepper, that I took through obedience and house training and at a young age (3 and 1 years old respectively). I have also looked after my sister's Frenchie and English bulldog (Passport and Stamp) most recently in the Miami area both for walking during the day and for overnight stays -- I consider them my niece and nephew at this point ! All in all, I am happy to do all the walking, washing, training, and playing with dogs as seen fit. I love also to cuddle up with a furry friend or be out and about, even enjoying the occasional swim or hike together !

Carol is one of the most responsible and caring people for both humans and doggies! Carol is a person that takes full ownership for those things that she is responsible for which allows you the ability to trust that she will do whatever it takes to get the task done. Outside of being a highly accomplish individual personally and professionally, she is an absolute die-hard lover of dogs. She has taken care of my dogs for months on end at this point, and I know that they are in good hands. She feeds, walks and plays with the dogs on her scheduled times with them and even taught our dog Passport a new command "bed". Our dogs love Carol so much that, at times, they rather spend cuddle time her instead of ME! She truly loves and cares for each and every dog that she comes across and has the patience to handle all types of temperaments. You can trust that Carol will get the job done and give your doggie all the LOVE. I highly recommend her to care for your pup!
Carol is an excellent communicator who will listen carefully to both, you and your dog. She makes sure to properly understand anything that you consider to be important to know about you dog in order to be able to take good care of it. At the same time, she is really great with dogs and is able to read whatever the might be communicating. Pets generally feel very comfortable around her, especially because she provides them with lots of playtime and cuddling. I can totally recommend her if you ever need a dog walker or sitter.
Carol is a sweet caregiver and a thoughtful communicator. I appreciate her showering my Jorge with affection and then letting me know how happy my dog is! Carol is professional, reliable, and flexible. It is so important to have someone you can trust to take care of your little baby.

I am happy to adapt to your house rules for your dog. I am accustomed to dogs who can walk freely in the home or at night, but I am also familiar with those who rather sleep or are kept in fenced or crated areas. I will take careful note of all specifics and am happy to work together to find the best environment to look after your furry friend and home. I am also glad to upkeep any training rules you have to keep your dog on their regime and on their best behaviour !

Please let me know of any special needs or behaviors of the dog beforehand - I am more than experienced with the overly excited puppy or big dog that jumps, and I am happy to help you all as you work on such corrections such as ignoring the dog until they calm down, or leashing while at home for additional control. I love all dog breeds, but of course am partial to bulldogs, Frenchies, terriers, shepherds and pitbulls as I have the most experience with such breeds.
A typical day
I love to keep dogs active physically and mentally. During the day, a walk and or visit to the park is always fun, especially if a game of fetch or frisbee is involved. I am happy to work on simple commands and tricks outside or at home. In the evening, I am glad to curl up and cuddle or just keep the pups company.

Availability
I am currently between jobs and thus available and flexible to look after your loved pets. Weekends and evenings are easiest for dogsitting as I have some personal obligations at home during the daytime. If you are in the Coconut Grove or Coral Gables areas, I am even more available during the day as this is near to my home.
