Will love your dog like my own!!!

Pet care experience

I owned/rescued a Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier named Paco for 13 years until he passed in December of 2021. This was my first dog as an adult. I did not realize how much I love dogs until I spent the best 13 years of my life with Paco. He changed my life. Taking care of dogs makes me happy. I grew up with two dogs, though mom mostly took care of them!! I currently volunteer at the Flagler County Humane Society. I have taken some training courses. Love dogs❤️ If you are new to Rover, apply for a discount: https://www.rover.com/sit/carolb89182. Promo code:carolb89182

Carol was the best while boarding my Frenchie. She kept me well informed with multiple pics and updates on my little dog was doing. I really appreciated the great communication while I was on my vacation. She gave me piece of mind that my little girl was well taken care of. Would highly recommend her!!!

Carol is amazing. Luna was well taking care off. And Carol always kept me updated via text/images. We will definitely book a second doggy vacation with her. Thanks so much!

I live in a condominium complex with lots of walking areas. I will walk a dog for as long as they want, and, as many times as they want to go out. Most days, I walk the dogs 3 to 4 times a day, unless extreme heat. I would board one dog at a time, unless from the same family, or special circumstances. I have dog beds; and two crates, if client prefers, and dog likes crate. I also have a gate should dog/dogs need to be separated. Dog is allowed on furniture and can sleep in my bed. I will sleep on the couch with dog if he/she prefers. I also have two Wyze cameras to check on dog while I am out. I play smooth jazz a lot, and I find it relaxes and calms dogs. I take plenty of videos and pictures and send through your cell phone which I will acquire. When I housesit, your dog is my priority. Because I have a dog, I travel back-and-forth and make sure I spend quantity time with your dog, and mine as well. I leave my dog alone at night; she seems to understand 😀. I have cameras to watch her and neighbors to check on her. Tips welcomed, not required though appreciated. Cash preferred.

Information Carol B. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know of any medical conditions, and if they take medications. I would like to know the personality of the dog; do they like other dogs, people. I would also like to know the words owner uses; for example, “do you want to go for a walk”? “Do you want to go outside”? I would like to use the same wording that the owner uses. I believe this helps the dog to feel more comfortable. If there is anything else, please let me know. Also, for boarding, if your dog cannot be dropped off by 8 AM, then I suggest you bring your dog the night before. Thank you

A typical day

I walk around my condominium grounds. Lots of walkways, trees, grass and smells. The canal is nearby. My dog likes to look at the water. I would play stimulating games with them inside. I give a dog lots of love and attention. They are my priority.

Availability

I retired in 2022 from the legal secretary profession, and I have very little commitments. I am single, I have no children and I live alone. I am active and I like to walk. I love the responsibility of taking care of a dog. If your dog should become sick or won’t eat, I will make him/her chicken. I wash your blankets, toys, and if possible, harnesses before your pet goes home.
