Hello! My name is Carney Anne and I am a career animal protection attorney, animal law professor, and currently work remotely as a Harvard Animal Law & Policy research fellow - can you tell I LOVE animals?! I grew up in California around horses, dogs, cats, rabbits, and hamsters - so I have been caring for animals in my life for 40 years! My love for animals drove me to pursue a legal career standing up for them when they are mistreated. I have two rescued dogs, Monza and Pedro, and recently my two seniors (who were both 17) crossed rainbow bridge. Since I work from home, I would love to be the person you trust with your fur babies when you travel or simply need someone for them to play with during the day while you manage your busy schedule! In my house, we don't see animals as "pets" - we see them as companions who have their own unique personalities, needs, and characteristics that should be catered to and respected. I have two sons, ages 14 and 9, who are turning into mini animal experts in their own right.
