Hi I’m Carmine! Since 2019, I’ve fostered and placed over 18 dogs with Hearts and Bones Rescue. I have experience with all breeds and personalities and am up for any challenge! This past year, I’ve also raised and pre-trained a Labrador Puppy for Guiding Eyes for the Blind! Carmine has watched our senior, special needs shih tzu Mattie a few times now and she just loves spending time with him. She has separation anxiety and is almost totally blind - so we rarely leave her alone for more than an hour or so. We are so grateful to have found Carmine to help us out - he is so kind, caring and gentle with her. He is also great to work with. Thank you so much Carmine!
Carmine was the perfect person to watch Biscuit for the day. She is nervous with new people and takes time to trust. When we went to get her she curled up on the couch and just gazed at Carmine with adoration. Carmine is very kind and understanding, we will definitely bring Biscuit over again!
Our 14-year old golden doodle, Belle, was in great hands with Carmine. He sent updates and photos so we were able to rest assured on our vacation that she was happy and well cared for. She was so calm and at ease in his home, she settled right in and very much enjoyed her stay!
Carmine took care of our senior special needs shih tzu overnight last night and we are so pleased that it went well! Mattie is almost totally blind and has bad separation anxiety so we always worry about leaving her, but Carmine is so caring, gentle and patient with her.
