Pet care experience
I am a 40 year old lawyer and am super responsible and kind. I owned a dog for 10 years and am experienced with taking care of shih tzus and senior dogs with special needs and medications. I live alone and don’t have any children or other pets. My beloved dog passed away last year and I would like to pet-sit for fun and so that I can spend time with dogs again. I love dogs!

Carmina took marvelous care of our two boys. She has an amazing way with pets and a broad range of experience. She has taken care of these guys a couple of times, and they're always excited to see her. In addition to pet sitting, we also trust her with our home when we are away. The dog would be welcome inside my home. I live in a small back house that is secure and pets are allowed. There would be no way for the dog to get out of my place. I do have a fenced yard but I wouldn’t leave the dog alone or unsupervised in the yard ever. I would try to be home as much as possible with your dog or take it with me wherever I go but your dog would have to be ok being left alone inside 1-2 hours if I have to go to yoga or the grocery store or a movie on the weekend. I do not have a doggie door and the dog could not go outside while I’m not at home.

I would like to meet your dog first before I agree to watch them to see if we’re a good fit. I prefer to watch small furry and fluffy dogs, especially shih tzus. I used to have a shih tzu for 10 years. I have a small place so I’d ideally like to watch smaller dogs that are under 20lbs (like pomeranians , corgis, malteses, llasa apsos, bichons, shih tzus, cocker spaniels, schnauzers, small poodles or any type of doodle, cockapoos, etc.) I love mutts too. I prefer to watch lap dogs, lower-energy dogs, senior dogs and gentle dogs.
A typical day
I love to go on walks, play with, and snuggle with dogs on the couch. I love petting dogs and going for walks at the Silverlake Reservoir with them.

I work from home two days a week on the weekdays and am available all day on those days. I am also available on the weekends all day and at nights on weeknights.
