Pet care experience
I am Carmen! A was born in the US but lived and raised in Argentina. I love animals especially horses and dogs. I have three dogs back at home but just Zamba (Jack Russel Terrier) here in DC for the moment. I moved to DC to have different work experience, I am an educator and wish to continue in touch with nature and animals while I can. I am very respectful and care for animals. I am fearless and have a lot of fun with them. Zamba is calm and very obedient but she doesn’t know many tricks !! I am working on it step by step. I live by myself in a one-bedroom apartment with zamba and have space and time between my job schedule. Hopefully waiting to have FUN!

Carmen is amazing! She takes great care of our dog and is very communicative. Carmen has watched our dog over multi-day dog-sitting visits and has also been available to provide occasional dog walking services.
Carmen took such great care of our dog Spike. She’s very responsive and we received daily photo updates. Spike had a great time and we’ll definitely book with Carmen again!
Carmen was a lifesaver and took amazing care of our Penny! Our previous dog sitter canceled last minute and we contacted Carmen and she was able to accommodate us quickly! She took great care of Penny, feeding her a special diet we provided, and sent us pictures every day with an update! She also was able to drop Penny off at our friends which helped us immensely. I highly recommend Carmen to anyone looking for someone to watch their fur baby! :)

I don’t mind dogs at home playing around. I’m constantly watching them and if I have more than one at the time I give food separately always. I am very aware of their needs and if waking in snow I’ll wash they feet’s with water always (because of the salt in the streets)

I’m currently working from home so I have plenty of breaks during the day. Also, I’m convinced it’s necessary for dogs to feel company, play and exercise.
