Pet care experience
I have been taking care of dogs for around 10 years, taking care of family pets, dogsitting around the neighborhood, and fostering litters of puppies, helping them find loving homes. Fostering dogs entailed 6-8 puppies, which taught me a lot of patience and confidence with dogs. I’m young and eager to create a comfortable and playful environment for your pups!

Carmen fostered a litter of puppies that were abandoned. I ended up adopting one of the dogs. Because of Carmen, I got my best friend. I would trust Carmen in a heartbeat to watch my dog and know that she is being taken care of.
Carmen has a heart for animals- all of them- and that’s not an exaggeration! (She actually rescued a hurt duck, taking it to the vet for help) She has always had a dog or two her entire life and understands their needs- play with me, snuggle me, pet me, feed me, outside NOW- all of the important things to a dog. Her love and caring for animals knows no bounds. She loves all pets like they are her own and will treat them that way.

I live in Midtown, towards the Fulton Farmer’s Market. It’s a very dog friendly area, and I have a house with three roommates, a porch, and front yard. Across the street, there’s a dog park, and there are a few parks scattered around the area as well. Your dog is guaranteed to get lots of love in a safe, comfortable environment.

I live right across from a dog park and in a great part of town to walk dogs around in! I have very loving roommates who will participate in lots of playing and also give lots of pets!

Availability
I work a full-time morning job at a coffee shop downtown. I go in around 6:30 AM and leave around 1 PM. Outside of that, I am normally at home or in Grand Rapids, and my schedule is incredibly flexible. I’m here to provide whatever I can to make your time easier!
