Hello, my name is Carmen, and I've owned & helped rescue cats and dogs for basically my whole life. In my own home right now, I own two cats, and I grew up with three dogs. Over the years I have volunteered over 300+ hours at my local shelter helping to feed, bathe, and play with both dogs and cats. I am very attentive to pets that have special dietary or health needs, as I own a pet that requires the same amount of care. I also have a lot of experience with dogs and cats who are very active and love to play, and what's more fun and fulfilling than playing with a furry friend? I am committed to following owners' care instructions exactly so that your pet stays as safe and comfortable as possible.

Carmen was professional and easy to communicate with. Judging by the pictures and how sleepy my dog was after her visit I would say she did a great job!!
Carmen would provide safe, loving care and great customer service. She has cared for my pet dogs previously, Remi (a Chihuahua mix) and Wishbone. (a Parsons Jack Russell Terrier mix). She is an awesome human being who cares deeply for animals and their well being, is super responsible and professional. She communicates at an advanced level and will follow through with any assigned task with no problems. I would trust her time and again to care for and cuddle my pets!

I am someone who is extremely cautious and detail oriented when it comes to taking care of all pets, but especially pets that I watch or care for through Rover. My goal is to follow your directions and wishes, and I pay special attention to directions regarding pets who are escape artists or can have certain fear triggers. I want your fur baby to feel safe, calm, and happy while I am with them.

I think it's important to know if your pet has any type of aggression issues or triggers, such as being pet on the back or is territorial over their food. It would also be great to know of any ongoing health issues or dietary needs and where you would like me to take them in case of emergency.
A typical day
In a typical day watching over a dog, I love to get outside. I love taking dogs for walks around neighborhoods, or go to a local trail or park that allows dogs on leash. I also love playing with dogs by using their toys, as I think a good game of fetch is sometimes the perfect pasttime.

I am working part-time and most days am off of work around noon, so I have lots of time to play and take good care of your animals.
