Pet care experience
Originally from Nebraska, I've owned dogs since I was eight years old. I grew up with a slightly chunky chocolate lab, who was my best friend and constant companion. He and I would walk and jog the five-mile bike trail in our neighborhood. I attribute my love of exercise to those walks. Two years ago, by family adopted a hyper-active foxhound who has the most adorable puppy eyes. Thankfully, I was able to keep up a routine of exercise with her. I moved out to California to go to school, and since then, I have severely missed being around dogs. While in college, I took a job as a free-lance, certified dog-walker and sitter, and have loved every opportunity I've had to spend with dogs.

It was my first time using any sort of professional dog walking service and Carly was so sweet! She was on time and awesome with Rex! She has a great handle on bigger dogs and certainly knows what she's doing. Rex was super happy after the first walk and gets excited every time he's seen her since! I broke my ankle about four months ago, and having a high-energy dog suddenly became a hassle, but Carly's been a huge help in getting Rex the exercise and attention he needs. Will definitely recommend her to anyone in the area looking for a sitter or walker.
Carly took great care of my pups, Roger and Curtis, and was very professional. I had her meet them before sitting and walking, because Curtis is a little high-strung. She was able to wrangle these two huge dogs--one's a German Shepard and the other's a lab--on bi-weekly walks. She also sat for Roger and Murphy and our anxiety-prone terrier a number times and was able to administer medicine and keep my pups entertained. She is very good at what she does and super sweet. I'd recommend her any day. If my pups are happy, I'm happy!

I'd like to know, obviously, where the food is and whether or not the dog has any dietary/treat restrictions. If there are special activities that the dog enjoys or medicine to administer, that'd be great to know as well. I have the most experience with larger dogs, hyper-active dogs, as well as older dogs, although since I began walking dogs, I've interacted with breeds all across the board.
A typical day
On top of walks, and depending on the needs of each dog and space available, I can entertain dogs with a number of activities, including fetch, chew toys, and training exercises.
