Pet care experience
This work allows me to get my fix until I have a home of my own and a furry companion of my own. I’ve been caring for friend’s companions and homes for well over 10 years now. I am an outdoor enthusiast and there is nothing I love more than sharing it with dogs. I am new to the area and would love to start up a clientele list since I can’t watch my favorites back in Durango, CO anymore. The dogs in my pictures are all of the dogs I have recently been dog sitting for and I have excellent references for all of them!

Carly is hands down the best pet sitter I’ve ever had! She loves my animals as much as I do. I had always been nervous leaving my pets with sitters in the past but Carly is incredible. She does various activities with my dogs such as taking them on hikes, to the dog park and walks around the neighborhood. She’s extremely attentive to all my animals including a bearded dragon. One of my dogs will stare at the door after I get back from a trip waiting for Carly to come in haha. You couldn’t ask for someone better to look after your pets and house.
I overwhelmingly recommend Carly as a pet caregiver. A few days before I left for an already booked, very expensive vacation, I found out my childhood cat had cancer. I was very reluctant to leave because I had to find someone to administer him a lot of medications and that was quite the chore. Carly lived next door to me and offered to watch him while I went on vacation. She gave him all of his medications and sent me plenty of photos so I would feel relieved while I was away. She was very attentive and kind and I would have her watch any of my pets again.
Carly is an awesome pet sitter and an amazing person. She took care of my puppy, Molly. I would trust her with anything, especially Molly.

A typical day
I love to take dogs to play in the water, weather permitting. I love to hike with dogs the most, and if the dog is savvy to it- biking with them on the leash next to me so they can get a good run in!

Availability
I was regularly watching dogs or house sitting a couple times a month for extended periods of times. I have friends that work long hours and would leave their pups with me for the day when I am off work. I’m very flexible, and would rather have the company of a dog than not if I can help it.
