My name is Carly and I am college student at Penn State. I have never professionally cared for pets, but I feel that after having a dog of my own, Murphy, for 13 years I know how to care for a pet. Through having and loving my own pet I also know how I would want my dog to be treated and know how important this is to other dog owners and their pups.I have experience and am comfortable with giving medicine/shots to animals as towards the end of our dog’s life we had to give him medicine in order to keep him as healthy and happy as possible. I have always had a love for animals, and it only grew when we got our dog. He was the best addition to our family and gave us so much joy. Sadly, Murphy passed in the fall of 2019 and I will never forget our little pup. I miss having a dog in my life, and getting to care for other dogs would help bring me the joy Murphy had brought into my life.
