Hello! I'm Carly (my husband is Dan) and we're so excited to meet your doggos! OG Chicago natives, we love the Cubs, good beer and Chicago dogs... & pups! We would love to one day own a dog of our own, but work travel tends to pop up when we least expect it. We joined Rover so we could still have doggos around and we have had so much fun meeting all kinds of new furry friends! I love getting outside with pets who love to explore, or cozying up with pets who prefer more personalized attention. Big or small, young or older, sociable or not... I have experience with all kinds of dogs and personalities. I can't wait to meet your furry best friends! :) We recently moved from DC to Astoria. Though we can no longer host pups in our home, I am available for daily drop-ins and Homestays. Let me know what you're looking for! Can't wait to meet you and your furry best friends!

Carly was great. She put us at ease prior to booking during our meet and greet. Bolt enjoyed his stay and we are thankful to have Carly nearby for future needs.
Our dog had a wonderful stay with Carly! It was the first time we had her stay with a sitter rather than having a sitter stay at our place, and Carly was great with her. When we met Carly ahead of the stay, our dog loved her immediately. Our dog is a rescue with a little anxiety and leash reactivity, and Carly was very confident in meeting her needs. Her text and photo updates were great. We would love to have Carly sit for our dog again.
Our two dogs arrived just before Covid and this was the first time I have used Rover. I was very apprehensive about leaving them. Carly and Dan were wonderful. I received pictures every day, they checked in when they had questions and were responsive to my inquiries. In short, they were great! Our dogs now keep looking for them in our house, so I know our first Rover experience was a big success. I can’t say enough good things about this experience. Thank you Carly and Dan!

I love walking around the waterfront in Astoria. Any excuse to pop over to Chateau Le Woof is a good one! There are so many great spaces to explore in our area!
