Pet care experience
I’ve had continuous interaction and experience with dogs for 18 years. We had a family dog for 15 years who was my best friend, and now my sister has two beautiful Cavapoo’s that I look after fairly regularly. I always offer to friends and family to dog sit and have been taken up on the offer a few times which has been lovely having a dog in our flat. I would love a dog of my own but sadly it is not suitable due to my current working hours. Nothing brings me joy as much as seeing or spending time with dogs. I promise to treat them with the same love and attention you would yourself.

As a nervous dog mum to an anxious/reactive dog, Carly took on board all my worries and concerns and elevated them! She made the effort to meet with Parker on several occasion before his sleep over to ensure he was comfortable with her. He had a great time and I will be using her again for walks or boarding in the future!
I highly recommend Carly as a dog walker/sitter. She is reliable, friendly, and professional. She always prompt, and treats Bonnie with love and care. Bonnie is always happy and tired after a walk with Carly. She also sends me updates and photos of their walks, which I really appreciate.
Carly has been looking after my Vizsla (Bruno) for quite some time now and she quickly became one of his favourite people! He can be quite the handful but Carly’s great! She’s flexible, punctual and professional which is what I’m looking for. Above all, you can see her love for the dogs. 10/10

I do not have a private garden but Leith links is on my door step and have never found it an issue before when looking after my friends or families dogs. I am fairly fit and like to go walks/runs daily so would be great to get out with a dog. I have no issue with pets on furniture or beds, in fact I encourage it as I love cuddles. I have no other pets at home and have plenty space to play. If puppy sitting - we have flooring throughout so any accidents or spills are not a problem. Plenty room for a crate if you would prefer crate training. I chose Rover as with the Rover Guarantee I feel it gives you and I both peace of mind for secure, trustworthy bookings and reassurance for any issues if they were to occur.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs or certain behaviours that I can account for. I have spent a lot of time around older dogs and very timid dogs and I take great pride in my ability to keep them calm and make them reassured they are in a safe space. I am happy to adapt to any requirements.
A typical day
I live very local to many park, beaches and nice walkway’s. If your dog likes the beach I would love nothing more than to run around and play with them. I like to keep fit and playing all day with your dog sounds like a win win to me. Getting messy does not bother me but I will be sure to return your dog clean. If your dog likes to repetitively play catch I am the right person for them as I’m a sucker for a cute face, they’ll have me wrapped round their paw.

Availability
I work Monday-Friday but I am available Thursdays after 1.30pm for drop in visits and dog walks. I am available Fridays after 5.30pm and overnight boarding. I am free all day and overnight boarding for a Saturday. Sunday I am free all day. I also have a car so I am available for pickup and drop off services too.
