Pet care experience
I have been the go-to dog sitter for my family and friends since I was 15. I have cared for small, medium, and large dogs. I have watched some of the same dogs since puppyhood into their “teens” and even their old age! Dogs have always brought me so much joy and I would love to become your go-to person too.
Reviews
Put simply, Carly is the BEST around. She is reliable, smart, and beyond loving of pets. Carly will absolutely take extra special care of your pets and can also be trusted to stay at your home when you are away. You are in great hands with Carly!!
Carly is an exceptional caregiver! She has stayed at our home to care for our two dogs when we’re away and makes sure they are safe and loved! She checks in with us, is extremely responsible, flexible, and all around wonderful!

Safety, trust & environment
Your animals safety is always my first priority. I would never take your pet anywhere without your informed consent or provide a service that you are uncomfortable with/didn’t agree to. If your pet has special needs, I am more than willing to accommodate. No animal is ever an inconvenience or annoyance to me! Unfortunately, I can’t have playdates at my personal home. I have housemates and a rescue dog of my own that is very loving and gentle - but only with her own humans! She surely would not be pleased if I brought another dog into the home and I have to respect her wishes.
Information Carly L. would like to know about your pet
It’s very important that owner’s disclose to me any routines or habits that they’d like me to stay consistent with. You know your pet better than I do. If there are places we shouldn’t go, please let me know. Some dogs are more sensitive to touch than others and would prefer not to be pet in certain areas—this is important to disclose. I also want to know if there are any special needs such as dietary restrictions or medications I may need to be made aware of prior to providing a service for your and your pet.
A typical day
I love to go for long walks outside and consider myself a very active person, especially on the summer. With your permission, I would love to take your dog to Delaware Park or Hoyt Lake. I have taken dogs hiking at the Niagara Gorge trail before as well. Depending on your dogs physical ability, age, and overall needs, I can walk anywhere from 30-90 minutes per session. If your dog is not too friendly with other dogs, I have some spots that are less popular where we will can spend some quality time just the two of us.

Availability
My summer schedule: I will be available anytime of day on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, & Mondays unless I have marked myself unavailable on my Rover calendar. Even then, I would encourage you to message me because I am very flexible and can usually move things around to accommodate clients so long as I am not out of town! Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays I work 9am-5pm and will be available starting at 5:30pm for evening walks and drop ins.
