**About me** I'm a self-employed freelance illustrator. My boyfriend and I have a cat, but both love dogs and plan to get one when we move to a larger apartment. I grew up with 2 Portuguese water dogs who had boundless energy and am surrounded by dogs at the community art studio I work out of. I have experience administering meds to both dogs and cats as well as post-op care. I also have experience caring for puppies, as the family I used to nanny for got one.

Carly was fantastic! Easy to deal with, professional and responsible! There were some complexities in the dog "hand-off" (due to my schedule), but Carly was very gracious about accommodating. All went smoothly and I came home to very happy dogs.
There is no one I trust more with my husky Birna than Carly. She is one of my dog's most favorite humans, and I'm fairly certain Birna prefers her to me at this point. It's always scary leaving my girl, but I know she's in great hands with Carly. She will be hugged and kissed and taken for long walks in the woods, and will be carefully watched when Birna makes a lunge for the trash or the door. Thanks for all you do, Carly!

**About my neighborhood** I live in North Portland with lots of quiet neighborhoods to walk through. I'm also not far from Irving Park, where we can play fetch. Since I can't board pups, however, we will probably be going for walks in your neighborhood.

**About my home/services** Unfortunately our apartment building does not allow dogs so I cannot board. I'm happy to stay with your pet in your home, or simply drop in to take them for a walk. I'm also happy to bathe your pet, and can provide pick-up and drop-off. I have a Volvo XC90 with a spacious cargo area so it's no problem traveling with larger dogs.
