10+ years of pet care experience. I’ve cared for around 15 dogs of all sizes—from Chihuahuas to Bernese Mountain Dogs—and grew up with lots of dogs in my home, including one with medical needs. I understand how to balance fun, affection, and responsible care to make sure your pet feels safe and happy. I love long walks in the park and cuddles on the couch, and I’m always happy to have a four-legged friend join me. I'm flexible to adapt my routine to your dog's needs, and can care for dogs of all ages from puppies to seniors.

Carly was absolutely amazing with our dog, Toby! From the start, she made us feel completely comfortable leaving him in her care. She was caring, reliable, and treated him like family. We loved getting updates and could tell Toby was happy, relaxed, and well looked after the entire time. We wouldn’t hesitate to leave him with Carly again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving dog sitter!! My Shih Tzu Walter loves when Carly comes over. He can be pretty timid, so I was a bit picky about who I trusted with him, but Carly’s been awesome. She’s super gentle and patient with him, and he warmed up to her right away. She’s also really responsive and sends updates while I’m away, which I appreciate a lot.
Carly is my go-to dog walker. I often work long and unpredictable hours, and she’s been a huge help. She lets herself in, checks on Casper, gives him his dinner and medications, and takes him on a long walk. By the time I get home, everything has been taken care of, which gives me real peace of mind. I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and trustworthy.

Schedule
I am a student in my last year at UofG, which leaves my schedule quite flexible! Most days I only have one evening class, and I do some freelance work online, so I am home most of the day.

Safety, trust & environment
My house is clean, non-smoking, and child free with a fenced yard and no other pets, so your dog will have a safe, calm environment and my full attention. I always follow the pet’s routine closely, feeding, walks, and any specific instructions you provide to help them feel comfortable and at home. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful, clean, and tidy. I make sure your space is left exactly as I found it, and I prioritize keeping your pet’s routine consistent and stress-free.
A typical day
A typical day includes lots of outside time. There are lots of trails by my house that are perfect for long walks. I’ll match your dog’s pace, whether that includes going for a jog or taking our time exploring all the smells. At home, we can play fetch or tug in the backyard, followed by some cuddles on the couch.
