Pet care experience
I have had multiple pets in my household since the day I was born including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and fish. At the age of 17 my family started to foster dogs and cats. Since then we have rescued over 20 dogs and easily 100 cats. I have 10 year of experience with high-care pets including hand feeding puppies and kittens, maintaining a strict medication schedule, and providing basic training for dogs (potty training, sit, stay, and recall). I have been the go-to pet sitter in my group of friends in grad school due to my experience with all sorts of animals. I would love to add your pet to my ever growing list of animals I love.

If requesting dog walks, I will ask for a detailed description of your dog's typical route, how vigorous of a walk/play you want for your dog, and if they are reactive to anything (squirrels, other dogs, children, etc.). If you are requesting a pet sitter, I will ask for all of the above, and in addition I will need their feeding schedule and dietary needs, any medication your pet needs, your normal schedule when you would be away from the home, and how much attention you expect me to provide your animal. My goal with all of this information is to provide your pet with as close to perfect care as I can so you can travel easy knowing your pet is cared for.

A typical day
My schedule with your dog depends on what your dog needs! With my animals, I am often up early and take care of their needs first. I love a walk first thing in the morning, and would love to include your dog on it. I prioritize their experience making sure they get all the good smells in and a little sun shine. With cats I am sure to make sure they get all the snuggles they could want and play with them as often as they will allow it.

I am currently working part-time, so I will have plenty of time to walk and play with your pups! I do have a cat at home, so I will need to step to take care of him in the mornings and afternoons.
