Pet care experience
I've lived with dogs and cats my whole life so my love of pets runs deep! Aside from my own pets, I've also lived with and cared for other people's furry family members. Before adopting my current dog I lived in a home with an active Australian Shepard pup whose human worked long hours. I often took the dog for long walks and runs with me and did a good deal of dog sitting when my housemate was away. I also regularly sat for an elderly dog who needed medicine daily and who needed to visit the vet once while her owner was away. I will take care of your dog as if it were my own and ensure it's healthy, happy and cared for. My boyfriend and I adopted our current dog, Indy, when he was a puppy, and he has added so much to our lives. I believe in positive reinforcement for training and firm but loving discipline. We can't imagine life without our pup!

Carly is a true dog lover! She takes such good care of her very own pup and is always making sure his needs are met, from long walks in the fields, to fetch at the park, to training and spoiling, she is the one you want to care for your fur baby!
Carly is kind and energetic! She is enthusiastic, but knows how to temper her energy so animals feel safe and calm and not amped up. She is responsible and always punctual, and understands how much pets thrive with a routine they can count on. She’s tidy as a pin. I recommend her without any reservations!
Zapp Brannigan the long haired rescue chihuahua came to live with us at 10 months old. We quickly noticed that he cowered easily and was wary and even aggressive towards strangers. He loves and trusts exactly 8 people, and Carly is one of them. It took lots of time and patience on her part to get Zapp to warm to her, but she never gave up on him. Now he runs to her as soon as he sees her and greets her with enthusiastic tail wags (and usually a little excitement pee). Zappy is so sweet when he is around us and it can be a little disheartening that strangers can’t get to know him as we do. However, Carly brings out all of his amazing, loving qualities and we are so glad that she has become part of Zapp’s life and ours!

Availability
I just moved back to the east coast so my availability is very flexible. I spend mornings with my pup but am available for dog walking between 10am and 4pm and drop-ins between 10am and 6pm.
