Pet care experience
While I had my first dog a little bit late in life (early 20s), looking after Frodo (my pug) for many years created a huge love for dogs from my side. Since I moved to the Netherlands Frodo lives with my parents in South America, and because I have to travel often and live alone I can’t adopt a dog myself, but I look to give love and attention to dogs and pets of people who need it. I am a very social, active and pet-loving Expat who has lived in Ámsterdam for a couple of years now!

It was my first time using Rover and very last minute. So I was definitely a bit nervous to leave Maru with a “stranger”. But Carlos his communication was very chill & flexible & he gave me regular updates with photo’s which made me so much more relaxed. Thanks a lot!
Carlos is absolutely incredible. He's clearly an animal lover, but also very responsible, thoughtful, easy to communicate with, flexible and dependable. We never felt such peace of mind leaving our little Gazza with someone. If anything, we were a bit jealous of how much she was enjoying her time with him! ? Would recommend him to any pet parent withou hesitation.
Our dog Bastian can be a little nervous with new people but Carlos took excellent care of him and when we came to pick him up he jumped on Carlos' bed and looked like he wanted to stay!
Carlos is simply amazing! Our Yuli is a shelter dog that get stressed very easily and trusts no one. Carlos was super patient and kind so Yuli just fell in love with him. I got many updates and photos. Overall experience with Carlos is excellent! Will definitely use his help in the future :-)

It’s important to know any habits, restrictions. I want the time with the dog to be the least disruptive of his/her routine, but at the same time spending quality time!
A typical day
I normally engage in the activities that the owners request if any. Otherwise we can go for a walk, or simply lay down on the couch to watch tv! Whatever suits the dog!

Availability
I work full time from Monday to Friday, but normally on Fridays I work from home and normally am here all weekends. During week days I also finish around 5 and can take care of the dogs!
