Pet care experience
HELLO CONNECTICUT! HAPPY TO BE HERE INTHE NUTMEG STATE (moved from Fairfax, VA in Fall, 2020). Caring for animals has always been one of the most important things in my life. Cats & Dogs have occupied a very special place in my heart, and being an animal caregiver has even helped me reach some of my life’s goals. In the past 2 years, I’ve ramped up my dedication to animals via my kennel assistant work at Strawberry Hill Animal Hospital in Norwalk, CT and 17 months working at Dogtopia in Stamford, CT. Reviews
Carlos did a great job with the dogs! We have two energetic Brittanies. Moreover, our house didn’t have that ruffled look when we returned. And we think he even took out our trash on trash day and pulled the cans back in without our asking him to! Fantastic initiative, and very reliable. Thank you, Carlos!
Carlos went above and beyond anything we expected. He truly cared about our cats, Snek and Humphrey, and made my partner and I feel at ease while we were away.
Hands down THE most reliable, timely and genuine walker I’ve come across. Carlos is now my go-to walker.
My go-to walker!

Safety, trust & environment
I provide meds to my senior cat, Olivia, who has anxiety, back pain, and hyper-thyroid disorder. Much more high-energy are my 2 other cats: Negra, age 10, and Simon, age 4. I employ the "Plus-One" rule with my litter boxes (4 total). All 3 are particular with the types of food they enjoy.
Information Carlos C. would like to know about your pet
Some things I like to learn ahead of time: • Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? • What’s your preferred method of communication? • Does your cat have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? • Do you have a vet nearby that you trust? • Is your feline spayed/neutered? • Does your cat like to stick to a given schedule? • What’s the best way to spoil your kitty?
A typical day
Keeping fit and active is a huge part of my life, so having a friend around to keep me on task and dedicated is one of the best parts of being a sitter! I absolutely love going for runs, lifting weights, and doing everything performance-related. That is, after working anywhere from 7 to 11 hours at he animal clinic.
