Be very careful if you decide to hire Carlos to care for your pet. Within the first few days of dogsitting my pup, it became apparent that Carlos progressively began to not follow my dog's necessary, essential walking schedule, which allowed for some flexibility. However, I found Carlos to not meet expectations with making effort to meet neither pet's nor owners needs, even when provided specific written care instructions. Also, I'm assuming he was a little careless with ensuring my dog did not come into contact with street food scraps or table food, because upon returning home, I found my dog very ill, with upset stomache, chronic diarrhea, lethargy, and unusual flat mood. I know my dog super well, had her most of her 10-yeqr life, and never previously experienced health issue like this, and certainly not from any of the prevuous Rover sitters either. While overseas, and during dogsit job, I made several attempts to contact Carlos, who suspiciously made himself unavailable to be reached. When I finally was able to reach him, explained my concerns, but Carlos appeared quite uninterested and extremely short with communication. Also, when I asked why he was not following the care instructions with walks, etc., Carlos kept informing me each new incident that he had other commitments (school, church, etc.), which he never informed me of prior to starting the job. Overall, I was not impressed with the type of care Carlos provided, and would not have hired him had I known how unreliable he is. Rover, you really should invest more in vetting more apprpriate petsitter candidates in your directory.

Carlos is a trustworthy person. This is my second time using his services. He’s punctual, caring and responsive.
