I’m a professor who just loves dogs. I had a westie (west highland white terrier) and currently have a 13-year-old collie/retriever mix. She is my best friend. In our house, she's the boss, and she gets everything she wants. My fiance and I love to spoil her, and we plan to do the same for our furry friends. Our dog requires medication and special care due to arthritis, so I am particularly experienced with caring for senior dogs. If your pup doesn’t like to be alone too much, they’ll be in good company with me. I teach online one day a week, so I have plenty of extra time on my hands. Because of this, I tend to spend time with my dog often. This means that I will be able to devote a lot of time to your fur baby. Our home has an open floor plan, which means that your pup will have a large open space to roam around and that we will always have an eye on them. We also have a large yard and driveway that is completely gated, so your bestie can run around freely without worry. Oftentimes, we'll take walks around the neighborhood or take a quick ride to Don Knabe Park in Cerritos, which is less than a mile away from our house. I love my students. One of the things my students would tell you about me is that I deeply care for each and every one of them. I am attentive, present, and communicative with my students, which I believe helps build the rapport that I have with each one. Like my students, I will give the same amount of care, attention, and love to your best friend. I will keep an open line of communication with you so that you never feel distant or disconnected from your pet. You can look forward to daily updates via text and photo/video updates that will let you know how your pup is doing, what we’ve done that day, and what we’ve got planned for the next.
