*OVERALL: As a former volunteer for the ASPCA, I really love the time I have gotten to spend with dogs. All my life I've grown up with having dogs that have always been an important part of my family. We had to put my dog at home down in September of 2016 so i'm truly missing some dog loving! Currently I am working a full-time job, so watching your dog during weekdays isn't very convenient for me right now. However I have full availability on the week nights and weekends. I live in the Upper East Side in a studio apartment. Unfortunately my apartment building does not allow dogs so the only option I can offer at this time would be staying at your apartment to watch your dog. The Care Your Dog Will Get: -At least three walks a day -Unlimited amounts of play time and snuggle sessions -I can accommodate to any specific dietary/medical requirements your dog has, e.g.cooked chicken&rice for my dog, gave him medicine 2x/day, etc. -Your dog will be the only dog i'll be caring for. I only care for one dog at a time to ensure your dog has my undivided attention. ABOUT ME: I'm from the Washington, DC area and have been living in NYC now for 5 years. I joined the ASPCA in April 2014, and it was one of the best decisions I ever made! Unfortunately I'm no longer a volunteer because the hours became too much for me with working a full-time job. I will say it was so amazing to see the different backgrounds these dogs have come from, and to see how much they have progressed with their health and/or behavior. My favorite part of it all is getting to see a dog go home to his/her new family. It's an indescribable feeling. I've learned so much from these amazing animals!
