Pet care experience
Hi! I am a recent graduate from George Mason University and I love any and all animals. I have worked in a kennel and a vet clinic so I am accustomed to all sizes of dogs and I always make sure to give plenty of praise when something is done correctly. I am off from school until September so I am available everyday M-F and at anytime during the day. I love to run and walk so your dog will get plenty of exercise and love from me. I have pet sat for many friends and will make sure that your dog is always healthy and happy. I have my own car, so transportation won't be a problem. I can't wait to meet your dog!

Carlie is extremely caring with animals. She has taken care of dogs and walked them several times. She will take the dog on a good walk not just quick in and out. She will hang out with the dog to keep it some company. She is responsible and trustworthy.
We recently took the longest trip we have taken without bringing our dog. We stressed for months about what to do with him because we knew boarding for 2 1/2 weeks would be stressful for him (and us). We have known Carlie H. for 12 years and know she has experience working in veterinarian offices, so we decided to ask her if she would be willing to stay at our house and take care of our dog. We were so glad we did. Not only did she give him the best care possible, but she also took him on a couple of hiking adventures in the mountains. She had our permission ahead of time to get him as much exercise as possible. We were so glad to get pictures on our trip showing us how happy our dog was with Carlie. She is 100% trustworthy. We actually call her the "Animal Whisperer" because animals take to her right away and she gives back unconditional love to them.

I would love to know about your dogs temperament before I interact with them so I can make a good first impression and go slow if they are easily frightened or skittish. It would also be beneficial to know if your dog has any special needs or medications so I can be comfortable administering them.
A typical day
I love to go on walks and hikes so your dog will get plenty of exercise. Additionally I would happily take the dogs anywhere they normally like to go so they can have a sense of familiarity.

Availability
I currently work as a camp counselor during the week but my schedule varies as I don’t work every week, depending on how many counselors are needed. Thus, I’m available during weeks and typically during the weekends as well.
