I have Carley watch my pup when we go away on vacation and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to care for him! She is amazing and so, so sweet. She sends me updates frequently and lets me know how he’s doing. She’s always has good communication with us. One time he ran out of food and she went to the store and got him more before we got back. It’s such a relief to have her care for him when I am away so I don’t have to worry my entire trip if he is ok. Thank you for always taking such good care of our baby!

I have a large yard out in “the country” it is not fenced but when I have others pets with me I am always sure to keep a sharp eye out for trouble. If needed I can crate your pet but I usually just lay a nice bed out and a blanket for the animal I’m watching. If crates are preference for you, we can do it! If you’re worried your dog will take off since my yard is not fenced, I can easily just take them for walks on a leash if you would like. I do have a cat, he is good with animals but he usually just runs upstairs when they come over since he is shy at first. He doesn’t scratch or bite, so that will not be an issue, and he is house trained and fixed, so spraying is never a complication with him.

I don’t mind watching for special needs dogs, I want every dog to feel cared for and loved, but if there are any specific needs I like to know all the details in case. I can give medication, I rather not give any shots because I’m not experienced and don’t want to cause harm. I know the general first aid for dogs but I’m no longer up to date on CPR for animals. I like to know allergies and dislikes of any animals ahead of time too please.
A typical day
I will go on walks and/or runs. We can play fetch or tug of war, I can brush your pet and work on learning basic commands if needed. We can walk down to the creek near my house or make a trip to a park. And there is lots of room to roam in my yard

Availability
Honestly, I babysit, pet sit, and house sit for my friends and family all the time, and while I’m currently looking for a good job, I want to help others outside of my circle, too. What with covid and everyone searching for a job or trying to plan vacations, I decided why not? I love animals and I love helping others! And since I want to keep busy, why not do what I love most?
