I have grown up around all sorts of pet dogs and foster dogs - from Great Pyrenees to Chihuahua mixes, I have helped raise, train and care for many types of dogs and would love to get to know yours! I am very alert to any special needs of dogs and recognizing signs of distress or problems, and understand the importance of following the owner's directions and helping a dog stick to their routine, from special diet to medications or other restrictions. I have experience with basic grooming as well. I have been a shelter volunteer as well as worked at a dog walking company where I helped walk dogs several times a day and helped train dogs. Our house has a fenced backyard available all day and our resident dog is a 15-lb shih tzu/maltese mix who plays well with dogs of every size, large and small.
