I spend the winters taking care of Olympic level show jumping horses and the summers using my skills to care for smaller four legged friends. I have worked as a veterinary assistant at an emergency clinic where I helped a variety of pets in sometimes critical situations. I have experience administering medications as needed and recognizing potentially emergent situations. Outside of regular business hours I was able to spend much of my time cuddling and walking pets which I miss very much and would love to get back to that. I recently adopted my own ‘co pilot’ a 5lb Chihuahua Nova, who works with me on the farm and has met many cats, dogs and horses in her short life. I am happy to accommodate pets that are reactive or would prefer not to meet Nova as well as having her make new friends!
