I have loved animals my entire life. When I was a teenager, I walked home from school at lunch time to feed my Irish Setter puppy, later showing and field trialing him. The past 3 years, I've fostered a variety of dogs from Front Street Shelter. Many were special needs dogs, with injuries and skin disorders. My job was to potty train, treat, care for and socialize them, so that they would be ready for their forever home. I was able to place all of my fosters with loving families. I live on 5 acres fully fenced and cross fenced and the immediate yard around my home has a wrought iron fence, so your pet is confined to a yard with a doggie door into the house. My home is beautiful and completely pet friendly. You can rest assured that little darling will have all the comforts of home, they'll be happy, loved and cared for. I'm working from home and my schedule is flexible. I have several chores I do in my barn area and your pet can accompany me to a play area where they can safely watch what's happening, it's pretty exciting for them. I have a fully fenced yard, although my property consists of 5 acres and a doggie door into the house. Your pet will be able to come and go into the yard whenever they want. I have crates if needed. I am accepting only 25lbs and under.
