I love dogs and have always had one. I first grew up with Pomeranians. Winnie, Bandit, Snooper (pom/poo mix) and Taz were my furry siblings and emotional support growing up. After college and getting married, We got a Golden Retriever puppy. Kirby lived 12 years until Fall 2018. He was a sweetheart and we miss him. After waiting a few months, we picked up our newest addition, an Irish Setter puppy named Fergus in May 2019. He's very energetic, typical sporting breed. He has a sensitive digestive system so I understand those troubles well. I have boarded my brother's Pointer, Springer and Small Munsterlander a few times in my home and I have volunteered with Secondhand Hounds in the past. At Secondhand Hounds, I have done let outs where I feed, let out and play with dogs and cats. I am an RN at a hospital which gives me background understanding of medicine and treatments. I only work 3 days a week so I figured I would try this on my days off to give me and Fergus some furry friends to play with.
