I love all types of animals, but dogs always seem to catch my breath. They're so sweet and loving and have very different personalies. I volunteered at a shelter for 6 years in Chicago and I felt for every single dog that came through our doors. As well on weekends I often foster dogs from Great Dog Rescue New England. I’ve had a variety of sizes, ages, temperaments. Fostering really does teach you a lot and you learn a new sense of compassion seeing where many of the dogs are coming from and trauma’s they may have endured. All I want is to make sure that every friend feels loved and well taken care of. Here's to spreading positive energy to our dog companions and dog owners. Best!
