Pet care experience
From the luckiest owner of the sweetest Golden Retriever to Pet Sitter Extraordinaire among my friends and neighbors - I have had the pleasure of looking after dozens of dogs in my 12 years of care. "Duck" was the first word I ever spoke, and since, I have always been an animal lover. I have provided my sitter skills to dogs of all shapes and sizes, various cats, a lovable rat, a cricket-loving frog, and chickens, but my absolute favorite are DOGS! (And big dogs at that!) I love spending time exploring and cuddling with pups and would love to meet you and yours soon! I also enjoy giving a dog's-eye-view perspective through photography while with your dog so that you can see just what fun we're getting in to together. *To note: Please make sure your profile is complete before contacting me. Carla was amazing. Very communicative and professional; she did a great job with our slightly eccentric pup. We enjoyed getting pictures and updates about how he was behaving, and she handled it all incredibly well.
I so appreciate being able to board my dachshund with Carla. I leave on vacation knowing Annie is safe and being cared for with affection. Carla develops a personal relationship with her pets...Carla knows Annie’s habits,needs, and quirks and she gives a great report of her stay at pick-up. Annie leaves with a hug and a treat! Carla provides in home sitting in a beautiful immaculate country setting. Annie has been holidaying with Carla for over ten years and is always eager to leave me and cuddle into her arms. Carla is wonderful, and I can’t recommend her more. We feel so lucky to have found her! She is super responsive, considerate, and responsible. It’s clear that she’s a dog person. Our high-strung & wild pup absolutely adores her. She’s flexible to your schedule and your dog’s needs, and regularly sends us pictures of how things are going. Depending on where you live and if your dog gets along with other dogs will dictate where we go on our walks. You can always guarantee we'll walk the neighborhood but if your dog is well behaved, I would love to take them to local parks for a hike.
