*Boarding on Bowen Island* Your dog will love it here. We have a huge fenced in yard with a wrap-around porch, a spacious house and live seconds away from the forest and a dog-friendly beach. We were so pleased with Carla! Her care and attention to our dog, Ziggy, was amazing. Ziggy can be reactive to other dogs on walks and Carla was very attentive to the training method that we use with him. She sent lots of updates that made us feel at ease that he was well taken care of. We look forward to continuing to have Carla support us with caring for Ziggy!
Carla is incredible. We had a Christmas trip and needed someone to care for our two large dogs, and Carla gave them all the love we could have asked for. We got daily updates, photos, videos, and our dogs even were able to meet her family on the island for their own Christmas vacation. We will absolutely be calling Carla again in the future and would recommend her to anyone.
Carla took great care of my two cats! She provided videos and photos regularly :)

As a substitute caregiver I want to help your dog live their best life with as little disruption as possible. I recommend the Whole Dog Journal website for all aspect of dog care resources. Their dog sitter checklist is a good start We have a fenced yard on Bowen - deer proof. Dogs are never left alone outside. They can chill on the veranda, bark at birds or squirrels, or play fetch on the lawn. My parents are usually in the garden all day.

I live in Vancouver and work from home - I’m flexible. In the summer I spend lots of time in my family home on Bowen Island with my Mom and Dad. Someone is always around to keep on eye on dog guests.
