I grew up on a farm in Scandinavia, I have been taking care of animals since childhood, dogs, cats, horses, cows, pigs, bunnies, birds, hamsters. I have always been the go-to friend to dog sit within my friends, I love being around animals, they make me happy, when i moved to the city i had a cat, dog and a horse. I am very experienced and responsible with animals. I live 1 block away from Central Park Zoo. I am able to accommodate two dogs owned by the same client (owner), but not dogs from different families.

This was Evie's first ever stay with a dog sitter, and though she was clearly nervous at first, she ended up having a great time with Carla (who sent lots of great photos!)
After three days of reviewing possible candidates on Rover, I ended up with a long list, as I did when choosing our dog. My final choice was based on a gut feeling of "there's something about Carla", as there was "something about Pete" when choosing our wonderful dog! All dog owners want a caregiver to "see" their dog.......understand & appreciate (and sometimes tolerate) their particular personalities, to love their dog. That is Carla. She is gentle, firm and creative with Pete. And she values his exercise as they take long walks throughout Central Park! Pete loves Carla, and he of course is a very discerning dog! I will go for walks in Central Park since i live 1 block away, i also do a main walk lasting 1-2 hour walk in Central Park, I also love bringing your pup with me when outdoor dining and for running errands too, your pet will practically never be alone.

It is important to know if your pet is house broken. It's import that you are honest about the level your dog is house broken. That way I can prepare. Dogs should be healthy, safe around other people, friendly, behavioral trained and most importantly comfortable around new people.
