Hello! My name is Carl and I’ve shared most of my life with some amazing dogs! I got my first dog (a crazy spaniel!) for my 10th birthday and I’ve always looked after them ever since. After our last dog, Digby passed away around 5 years ago we decided as a family that instead of having our own dog, we would be the go to dog sitters and boarders for our family and friends. So we have had all kinds of wonderful dogs stay at our home from Pippa the relentless ball loving collie to Douglas the joyous Weshie terrier! Our longest guest was Samba, a very lucky Greek rescue terrier in her later years. She stayed for 6 months and didn’t enjoy rainy walks! Ha! A year ago we got our own Yorkshire terrier pup called Ernie. He is the sweetest little fellow and loves everyone and everything! He is playful and great with most breeds. In our home we have 2 kids and my wife, Jenny. We’ve all had dogs most of our lives so the children have a very good understanding of dog behaviour and care. Could not thank Carl and his family enough! Really professional and friendly service. Just returned from a weeks holiday and our Loki stayed with Carl and his family. It was amazing to see how they put lokis needs first. We arranged a meet and greet and I just knew Loki would be happy there, it was clear to see that they love animals. I’m quite anxious over Loki and this was the first time I’d left him with people he did not know but there was no need to worry. I woke up to loads of pictures and a daily diary of what Loki had been up to. Loki is now home and you wouldn’t even think he had stayed anywhere else he is really calm and happy! Honestly couldn’t recommend them enough! ??
We cant highly recommend Carl enough! We had been let down last minute for a sitter. We were a little apprehensive arranging a sitter through 'Rover' as our daschund puppy is only 5 months old. We looked through Carls profile and reviews and he seemed ideal. In the first five seconds of meeting him and his lovely family we knew we had made the right choice. They were all so happy, warm and receptive. I imagined we would leave 'DJ' our sausage dog and we'd anxious and worried - We didnt! we felt totally at ease!. Before we left he was getting on brilliantly with Ernie, their one year old yorkshire terrier. We had regular updates and photos how DJ was getting on. When we picked him up - he was exactly the same live wire puppy, full of beans and happy. We were so happy to hear he had slept downstairs allnight with Ernie -with not a whimper! DJ usually sleeps on our bed, so that was a concern we needn't had worried about. We would definitely book with Carl & his family again. 100% happy and 100% confidence! 5 Star! :)
I would highly recommend Carl, my puppy molly felt very much at home with her holiday family and whilst I was very nervous about leaving her for the first time Carl quickly put me at ease with a pre- visit. Molly particularly enjoyed her regular cuddles with Carl’s youngest daughter. It felt very much home from home! Thank you Carl and family! Sara
I have just picked up my dog from Carl and it was almost like he wasn’t happy to see me because it meant he would be coming home! Carl sent me regular pictures and updates which put my mind at ease and made me happy knowing Barney was having a good time. Ernie, Carl’s dog is lovely and great company for your dog - another good thing because you know your dog is spending time with a new friend. Barney is a very anxious dog and we have never left him with someone he didn’t know before however Carl ensured Barney felt like he was on holiday so he had no time to miss his mum and dad! I would thoroughly recommend Carl :)

A typical day
We have lots of green spaces around us so walks can be in a number of places. I am happy to walk your dog however they prefer both in the morning and afternoon. Each walk can be for as long as is necessary for your dog but around 45 minutes is an average. Playtime, ear rubs and love is on demand!
