Since all of my services take place in the client's home, my top priority is making sure pets feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. For dog walking, I follow any feeding, exercise, and leash routines the owner has established, and always keep dogs secure and supervised. For drop-in visits and pet sitting, I stick to the pet's normal schedule as closely as possible, feeding times, medications, play, and any specific preferences the owner shares. With house sitting, I'm there in the mornings/after work so dogs and cats never feel alone or anxious, and I treat the home with the same care I'd give my own. I always keep owners updated with photos and check-ins, and I reach out right away if anything comes up.

Let me know if the dog/cat has any behaviors that I should be aware of such as aggression toward others dogs/cats. Also knowing if they are trained or not is helpful as well.
A typical day
I love making sure pets have fun while their owners are away! For dogs, I enjoy taking them on walks and letting them explore at their own pace, sniffing around the neighborhood is enrichment in itself. Back inside, I'm happy to settle in for some couch cuddles or quiet playtime. For cats, I lean into whatever they're in the mood for, whether that's chasing a toy or just curling up together. I always follow the owner's lead on what their pet enjoys most, so every visit feels familiar and fun for them.
