Leaving Archie with Carissa was such a relief. He's usually a nervous wreck around new people, but Carissa and Luna quickly became his buddies. She really went above and beyond, spending tons of time with him, inside and outside playtime. It's such a comfort knowing he's in good hands and treated like family. Can't recommend her enough for anyone needing a caring dog sitter! 🐾
Carissa is awesome! She doesn’t just “check in” on your dog or fur baby. She interacts with them, cares for them, and you can rest assured that they are being treated like they are her own. We are so thankful for the updates, pictures, and reassurances we received from Carissa. If you need someone to provide that level of comfort to you when you have to leave your fur baby at home, you can and should trust Carissa!
Incredible dog sitter! We were super hesitant about leaving our dog with anyone, and Carissa was so kind & inviting. We toured her home & had a meet & greet between our dogs. Our dog has super bad anxiety and is kinda quirky, and Carissa was so accommodating and made Ted feel like a part of her family. While we were gone our sweet boy learned several new tricks, including to be a better car rider (something we’ve been struggling with for a year!) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! If you have any anxieties about leaving your pet, Carissa is the person for you. Thank you so much Carissa!

Pets in my home are welcome on furniture or to be in their crate, whatever they prefer. We have a dog door, and can offer walks/potty breaks every 1-2 hours. We have a 6 ft fence around the backyard with plenty of space for fetch, chilling in the shade, and chasing the occasional squirrel. If your pup need some quiet/alone time away from my dog, we’ve had visiting doggos hang out in our basement with ample heating/AC, bedding, water, toys, etc.

If you’d like me to do some basic grooming while your pup is staying with me, please just let me know! Happy to provide bathing, nail grinding, and/or de-shedding for $10 per option or $25 for all three! (cash, Venmo, Zelle)
A typical day
I’m willing to ensure your high-energy, anxious working dog or relaxed cuddle bug gets the exercise and stimulation they need while you’re away - whether that’s a walk, run, bike ride, game of fetch, trip to the dog park, or socializing with my Blue Heeler. If your pup prefers to play inside and watch TV on the couch all day, I’m happy to do that. I’m also more than happy to keep them occupied all day with outdoor adventures if your pup requires some extra exercise to feel calm.

Availability
My husband works from home, and I am on sabbatical, so pets will never need to be left alone. Having grown up on a ranch, I was instilled with the mentality that animals’ needs come first (food, potty breaks, exercise), and my cattle dog will ensure she and your pup get their needs met first thing in the morning and all day long!
