I grew up with dogs and I'm always borrowing my friends' dogs for hikes, camping, running, playing in the park, etc. I will treat your dog like a new friend, and make sure he/she is well cared for. My two (outdoor) cats are shy around dogs, but eventually they become accustomed to them - in the meantime, they can just hide outside (they have a cat door, in a window). I live two blocks away from a really nice park (Crispus Attucks). I’m currently working from home, so your dog will get a lot of attention throughout the day!
