Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of many dogs in my life including German shepards, Labradors, Labradoodles, Shetland Sheepdogs, Collies, Beagles, English Bulldogs, Pugs, and more. Growing up we had 3 shelties, and also a cocker spaniel. I have worked with puppies as young as 9 weeks, and as old as 13+ years. I have experience giving medications to dogs. I am also willing to work with your dog on his/her basic training and skills. Aside from having the experience of taking care of dogs, I really just love them. Spending time with my own pup is my favorite thing to do, I love bringing her for drives and for hikes. (Currently I am working on getting her comfortable walking through creeks! It’s a work in progress as she’s still unsure of water) Dogs have always brought me joy and I actually plan on opening my own business at some point in the future for boarding and dog sitting!

Carissa is very sweet and friendly, and just loves all dogs. She especially loves my pitty Brody, who at first can be a bit nervous when meeting new people. She took her time with him and now whenever he sees her he practically drags me over to her. I'd absolutely trust her with my boy, and would recommend her to other to walk and watch their pups.
I cannot rave enough about how great, and caring Carissa has been with my pup in the past. I have a one year old, red heeler mix named Dexter. He is full of energy, anxiety, and pee. Carissa has never had an issue watching him for me. My poor pup gets so excited when he sees people that he tinkles (typically on their leg/ foot). This has never upset Carissa at all. She has no issue cleaning up his mess, or being on the receiving end. My dog is my closest thing to a child, he is my child, and I always fully trust her to watch him. I’m never fearful that he is not getting enough attention, food, or exercise when she watches him. I know she always treats him like he is her own.

I have no breed preferences, but I do ask prior to the visit or walk, if you would inform me whether your fur baby enjoys a lot attention or if he/she prefers more alone time. I also ask to be informed if your pup typically enjoys the company of other dogs, or if he/she does better on their own.
A typical day
I offer both walks and playtime for your fur babies! We can wherever they enjoy it the most, and play with their favorite toys! I’m more than happy to drop in and feed your babies if need be as well.
