When pets come into my home for a boarding stay, they are welcome to every part of our home. Because I have a large fenced backyard, they are constantly taken on potty breaks there. I also allow them to wander throughout my backyard as soon as they get here. I feel that this helps them get their mind off of being separated from their owners, as well as getting to smell new things! I advise pet parents to bring as many items for their pets that will make them feel most comfortable, although I do have extra items. Pets usually sleep in the same room as me, as I've noticied that they seem more at ease that way and will sleep the entire night. Pets will get 1-2 walks daily (this depends on what they're used to) and they will get constant attention and snuggles, as I and everyone in my home is very eager to have these furry visitors. After pet parent's approval, I'll occasionally take pets on car trips to pet friendly places!
