Needed: floofs to snuggle
Pet care experience
I’ve always loved animals, but more ‘recently’ (during lockdowns&/WFH) I’ve found they bring me so much joy. I started to borrow a friend's doggo to help me get out and about more. Oh it changed my perspective on my home and work life ‘’balance’’ !! So that’s it, now I full time care for animals. In the past I've been a house and floof sitter for a Family And Friends. Caring for ferrets, cats, chihuahuas and a Japanese akita. ‘on my books’ now I have a range of doggos, Miniature Dachshunds, Dobermans, XL bully, Cockapoos, Spaniels and Terriers galore… and my personal favourite; Staffies . I cater for a vary of sizes and needs, and even though I’m only 5’3 – I can handle the biig dogs .Floofs would be inundated with snuggles(unless they hate them like my hedgehog Chicken), they will be treated as my own when with me. I’m definitely the ‘fun aunt’ for the doggos, but I have a great ‘mom voice’, or sometimes all they need is The LOOK ha! I'm very interested in learning aspects of training, so any current training lessons or tasks can be kept up with. Classes, vets, grooming appointments etc can all be included in a stay if Times & Dates checked with in advance. Additional courses and training I’ve done inc. Pet first aid &CPR , Pet Adoption, Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation, Animal Psychology

Daisy had a cheeky over night with Carey , she loves going to stay , love how Carey sends pictures and updates of her stays , will definitely be seeing Carey again soon x nothing it’s too much trouble for Carey xx rhanks again x
Blue stayed with Carey for a week and I think she enjoyed her holiday more than us, sent pictures and updates throughout. Will definitely be using again for next holiday
Carey looked after my 2 Springer Spaniels at our home over the weekend and she was fab!! It was a real challenge with the heat but she did loads to entertain them and they absolutely love her ? they can’t wait to have you over for a sleepover again! X

I have a walled garden on a quiet street that is off a main road; floofs will Always be monitored whilst outside. The local park is 3 streets away. We venture to local reservoirs, woodlands and farmlands for our regular walk. nature reserves and beaches further afield. There's few no-go areas in my house except Chicken's set up. Most dogs are curious but I encourage them away. We've had some lessons learnt by curious noses and endless hours of Hedgehog Life LIVE for the doggos to watch .

Would need to know any favourite scritching spots and cuddle positions...as well as whether they have good recall, well behaved off lead, comfortable around other dogs (and the odd child out and about).as well as any favourite walking spots so we can keep the first walk familiar.
A typical day
I love going on long nature walks, plenty of natural smells and surroundings. Ideally the dog would have good recall and be comfortable off lead. But no issue if not. My favourite places at the minute are (local) Ogden reservoir and (a bit further out) Hardcastle Crags

Availability
At home I have a Cat , ‘Simon’ and an African Pygmy Hedgehog, ‘Chicken’. They both keep themselves to themselves, Simon tolerates or ignores the dogs based on how he feels that day. He won’t admit it, but he LIKES a few of the dogs. I can tell. I have regular and adhoc Daycares booked in, Lunchtime Walks, Date Nights, Weddings and Home Boardings throughout the year. Some months (September in particular) get booked up soon. I can work 365 days a year and anywhere in the country.
