Pet care experience
I have been a pet mom for most of my life. I grew up on a farm, having many years of experience with both small and large animals. On my own, I have been a dedicated pet mom to my cat Mavi, who lived to be 20. I was also a devoted dog mom to my dog Max, who we recently lost to illness. He was just shy of 13. I currently have two cats (brother and sister) who are 3 and loving life!

I very highly recommend Carey as a pet caregiver. She is one of the best pet parents I know and is the first person I call to look after mine. And if I haven’t yet asked for help she’s the first person to offer if she hears that I’m going away. She has a very patient, kind and gentle manner around animals. She had her dog Max for 13 years and he truly was a very happy and well behaved dog. No matter how busy life would get she always made sure that he was a priority and well taken care of including getting his daily walks in twice a day if not more rain or shine. When he got older and started to struggle a bit with his mobility, she got a ramp for him to ensure that he could get safely in and out of the vehicle to continue to be able to go places with her. Any pet would be very fortunate to have Carey take care of them.
If you are looking for a loving pet caregiver who is passionate about animals, look no further than Carey. Your pet will be well cared for and enjoy plenty of walks, treats, and belly rubs. Highly recommend Carey for all of your pet caregiving needs.

I have an almost fully fenced yard with room to explore and play. However, primary dedication would be lengthy walks morning and night. Our house is home to our two cats who are friendly with dogs and loved having Max around. I also have two children who are great with pets. My daughter especially is a lover of animals. If your dog needs to be crated, I have a large crate as well as extra dog beds and toys.

A typical day
As mentioned above, I have a great trail steps from my door. There are also a few other trails very close by: the G2G, as well as a 6 km trail to a village outside of town. If your dog likes to bike, I love to bike too.

Availability
A tired dog is a good dog:) When Max was part of our family (until very recently), we walked morning and night- 40 minutes each stretch. I have a 2km trail steps from my front door that we explored each day.
