I currently stay home full time. I grew up in an animal loving family and was raised to care for all types of animals and be a respectful and responsible pet owner from a very young age. I have a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Kansas State University where I learned even more about animal behavior and nutrition. I’ve shadowed veterinarians, volunteered at animal shelters, fostered animals, worked for a dog groomer, taken dog training classes, and grew up on a farm taking care of multiple animal species. I have 11+ years of professional animal care and handling experience as well as 26+ years of personal experience as a responsible, knowledgeable, and experienced pet owner. Cara was absolutely lovely, our puppy had a great time at her place, and when my husband and I were denied boarding to our flight, Cara helped us cancel the rest of our booking with her With no problem. She was super sweet and took really good care of our dog, I’d highly recommend her.
Cara is absolutely amazing! We had a family emergency and I've NEVER had to leave my dog in 6 years and he's so attached to me, I was so worried about it, but Cara completely took ALL that stress and worry away, my dog was so happy around her and her family, every single need was met, and more. If we ever need care in the future, she will definitely be my first choice! She even arranged for my sister's dog to be with my dog so theyd be comfortable and that warmed my heart soooo much. We can't thank her enough for taking this worry away during such a bad time in our lives. Much love
Unfortunately my family had to travel for a funeral, so my sister and I both tried Rover for the first time and chose Cara. She made pickup and drop off an absolute breeze. She allowed both dogs to sleep in bed with her, and they are both about 100 lbs each. She sent us updates and pictures of the dogs and was very responsive to our messages. Both dogs seemed to do well, and Aspen slept for 12 hours when she got home!! Staying with Cara and getting to play definitely wore her out! Cara also wrote us a sweet card which was such a nice personal touch. I'll definitely book Cara again! Thanks again :)
Cara was great! Her family was very welcoming when I came over to drop off Waylon. We introduced our dogs and let them play before I head out. It was my first time ever using Rover and my pup had never stayed anywhere before so I was nervous but Cara made me feel at ease. She sent lots of pictures and videos while I was gone which was great. He was worn out when he got home so he must have had a great time. Highly recommend Cara and I will definitely use her again in the future!
