Pet care experience
Hello! I am Cara and have raised 4 dogs, 4 guinea pigs, a gerbil, a squirrel, an occasional bird and 4 children! I love dogs of all kinds and will care for your pet as my own! I understand that sometimes you need a little help! Over the years I have experienced many pet medications-- if your fur-baby requires special care I can help with that too. I work part-time so have the flexibility to be there when you need me. In addition to pet care, I will treat your home and space carefully and respectfully. My family are all pet lovers and I am excited to make more furry friends, and support you in the quality of life you desire for your pet! I have recently started house sitting, and as a person of a certain age, have knowledge and experience with various home systems.

Cara has always been available to not only feed, water and let our dogs outside but she goes the extra mile to spend time with them. She is loving and seeks to use the same commands we use for our dogs. She would be a wonderful addition to the Rover team. Can’t speak highly enough about Cara.
Cara is the best! She is likely the most dependable person I have ever known. She adores animals, and I always feel confident that my pup gets exactly what he needs while we are away. She communicates beautifully, and checks every box for the best dog and house sitter ever! Her calm demeanor and nurturing personality keeps our minds at ease when we have to leave our very anxious and high-maintenance dog! You can't do better than Cara!

Information Cara W. would like to know about your pet
I like to have all the information! If your pet gets moody, or places he likes to hide, or treats for special things, favorite toys, places, games, places to sleep and rules about furniture of course! I work well with a specific schedule and food plan, and if they are a fast or slow eater, behaviors to watch for, and any comfort type items or routines that will help your pet be comfortable while you are away.
A typical day
I like to give pets a little time to get comfortable with me, sometimes by playing with their toys in the house or outside, sometimes by just sitting and talking or getting pets. After that I love to play outside with them--running, fetch, tag etc... Inside we will brush or just have cuddle time. We will walk to places near home allowing for lots of sniffs along the way!

Availability
Currently I work part-time and am generally available for walks and drop-ins early morning and mid-afternoon through evening during the week. I have availability for weekends, and look forward to meeting your pet!
