Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm and have always taken care of all kinds of animals from the age of 12. Family and friends have relied on me to care for their pets when needed. I have 2 adorable cats Nori and Noni and an energetic dog Feidhlim.

Cara and Trista were amazing with our two dogs. They took such excellent care of them, did painting, took them on walks, and did some painting with them. They even sent back some little paintings and painted footprints back, which was such a cute touch. We received daily updates and pictures and could enjoy our vacation at eyes, seeing that our fur babies are happy. Cara and Trista really go the extra mile, and I highly recommend anyone that needs someone to look after their pets to contact them. Thank you so much again, Kloe and Lupyn can’t wait to stay with you again in the future.

Cara is the best choice when looking for someone responsible to care for your pets while away. My dog loves her and gets excited every time we turn into her place. I’ve never met anyone who loves animals more and find it very easy to relax knowing that my dog is in great hands when I’m away.

We have made a point to ensure our home is animal safe and our animals have full range of our home. We have a large unfenced yard that we love spending our time in. We also have a smaller fenced area off our deck that allows our dog to go outside to use the bathroom without a leash. However, our animals are never left unsupervised outdoors. We frequently animal sit for our friends and families and would be happy to provide references.

I would only need to know if your dog requires any kind of special attention. Whether I am required to provide medication or there is a behaviour I should be aware of to watch out for. Example: very anxious around people or other dogs/cats.
A typical day
I love to play games with dogs to stimulate them both mentally and physically. We have a big area in our neighborhood that we walk regularly. Our own dog loves to play with others and will keep them busy and on their toes! We have a fenced in deck with a large dog run/grass space for dogs to be off leash and the rest of our garden is not fenced.

Availability
I work Monday to Thursday. I am available Fridays, weekends and evenings. Trista works from our home office so we are always available to care for our animals and others. We value quality time with our pets.
