Hi! My name is Cara, and I love animals of all kinds! I have experience with dogs, cats, lizards, birds, snakes, and small rodents. I am more than happy to take care of any of your little friends! Please note, I do live on a 5th floor walk-up, so any large older doggos who don’t do well with stairs might have a hard time. However, I am happy to carry smaller dogs up and down! I worked for one family with two puppies for four years, one of which required a ton of specialized care due to being adopted from an abusive family. Growing up, I raised a couple dogs from the time they were puppies. Throughout my childhood and teen years, I completed many projects In high school about the care of dogs (which foods are the best choices and why, behaviors, etc.) I was a member of an organization called 4-H, where I showed dogs and trained my dog to compete in agility. I learned walking and training skills, as well as the science behind dog behaviors and worked on grooming. I won a competition on dog knowledge and skills over all age groups when I was a sophomore in high school; the test included questions on dogs behavior and anatomy and recognizing different ways that dogs communicate. I have my own cat and a chameleon, who are my babies! I can't wait to meet your pets!
