Hi I’m Cara! I love all animals- domestic, exotic, and wildlife. I've worked as a veterinary receptionist, boarding kennel associate, and doggy daycare attendant. I also come from a wildlife background, completing my second Avian Wildlife Rehabilitation Internship August 2019 with the Florida Keys Wild Bird Center and 6 months of work at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in their Wild Friends department as a Wildlife Rehabilitator, Caretaker, and Educator. I have training with administering fluids and medications, as well as wound care. I was a professional dog trainer with Dog Training Elite in Colorado, specializing in advanced obedience training and service dog training, and was promoted to being the branch manager for their Colorado Springs location. I have worked with every size, age, temperament, etc. of dogs out there and a plethora of cats and exotic animals. I have fostered and adopted out multiple cats and dogs as well as one rat, one pigeon, and 3 Leopard Geckos. I have one dog- Kida Bear (2 yr old spayed Newfoundland), 2 cats- Pumpkin Spice and Gru (female calico and male black tabby), and a Green Cheek Conure (a small parrot) named Aang.
