Pet care experience
Hi there :) My name is Cara and I have a good experience with pets of quite a variety -caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, fish.. even ostriches! I have even lived on a farm with horses/livestock for a while too. I am naturally kind and caring I and love nature. I love to see a happy pet in their homes, especially whilst their owners are away as naturally this may be a stressful time for a pet. I have also had family experience with many cats, labradors, collies, terriers, cockapoos, and springer spaniels. During my childhood I was fortunate to have a variety of pets. I also have a biology degree part of which involved studying animal behaviour. Presently, I am unable to board pets at home but I can care for pets in their homes and dog walk within Market Harborough and the surrounding areas. I work flexibly from home therefore I have good availability to look after your pets as I can plan my work around this. I really enjoy walking, especially with a furry friend in parks, woods and the countryside. I also have experience taking cats out on their lead! *If you think you might like me to take care of your pet then please contact me and I will be more than happy to try and help. I can make custom bookings depending on the service required, this can be just visits or sitting for full days or staying with them in your home whilst you go on holiday **It would help greatly if you could give your rough address when making an enquiry as I rely on travelling by foot/public transport so it depends on how easily I can get to you. I have known Cara for about 5years. She has cared for my nervous cavapoo on a number of occasions. She has stayed in my home to care for my dog Sky and is fully trustworthy. Cara is very caring and is absolutely loved and adored by my dog. Sky just does not take to some people so that is a big plus. Dogs tend to suss out people well. Cara is 100% reliable, always gets back to me promptly, arrives on time, leaves house clean and tidy. Even when we did not see Cara for a while due to lockdown Sky remembered her as when we did eventually meet up she went absolutely crazy as so happy to see her. Cara is a complete natural with dogs and gives 5 star care.
Cara provided an excellent service! She was very kind and caring with our 2 dogs and I felt completely confident to leave them in her care. I shall definitely use Cara's service again and would highly recommend her. Claire Roberts
Cara came to our house to look after our large breed 10 week old puppy who has periods of being very boisterous. She was very unfazed and is coming back next week.
Cara came to meet our three dogs today and we had a little walk with them just to see how things went. Cara had a very gentle demeanour which was lovely as two of the dogs are recent rescues and a little nervous. Our dogs seemed quite happy and so we have arranged for a mornings dog sitting next week. 😊

A typical day
I love to entertain dogs both mentally and physically. I will play lots of games and explore the local neighbourhood to sniff some new smells. I prefer to take on your usual walks so they feel familiar with these. We can explore the park too, or venture to new places if you think your pet would enjoy that.
