Hi, my name is Cara! I grew up with my best friend (Cocker Spaniel, named Corky) for 15 years. My dog was an alpha male his entire life, so raising him took a lot of love and care. I miss him dearly, as he is home with my family in CT. I've taken care of and walked several of my friends' pets, including the dog of the family that babysat for for 6 years. I also frequently took care of/fed/walked my best friend's dog Blaze, who lived in my apartment last year. I truly have a genuine love for dogs. I am able to meet the physical demands of taking care of your dog and am more than happy to run and play with him/her. I am very reliable, responsible, and sensitive to pet's needs. I just finished Grad school at Boston University and am working downtown. My office is right in Back Bay, so it would be convenient for me to walk your dog at lunch time! I also have availability to work from home when necessary so my schedule is flexible. I live in South Boston, about a 7 minute walk to the beach and a dog park! I am relatively flexible and can also be available on weekends/nights. Looking forward to meeting you and your dog! (:

As a long-time neighbor, Cara babysat my children for 6 years. I often asked her to take care of my dog during the time she was at our home. I knew I could trust her to make sure everyone was safe and happy, and trust her to come into our home and stay over-night. I always used to see Cara walking running with her own dog growing up on our street, and I know how much care she has for animals. Since Cara has moved to Boston, we are sad to have lost her as someone to call on the whim to walk or care for our dog Meggie.
