Hello! My name is Cara and I would love to welcome your pet into my home! I am also free for walks or drop-in visits. I have lived with and owned dogs for my entire life and have extensive experience in pet sitting, walking, and overall care. As a solo dog-mom to a 1 year old Whippet, I understand the balance of maintaining your personal life and finding someone you trust to care for your dog while you're away and/or working. I am here to help you! Your dog will be treated like family leaving them happy and you with peace of mind. I understand that each dog is unique and has different needs. I will do everything I can to accommodate and make sure your dog is comfortable!

Cara watched my good boy, Jackson, while I was traveling for work for a few days. Every time I have had to board him he goes on a hunger strike but with Cara he ate all of his meals and even had a playmate with her dog, Marv. Cara did a great job updating me on how he was doing and even took him on really long walks to tire him out. Next time I have to travel, I’ll be reaching out to Cara first!
Cara is great with our shy dog, Olive. She provides great updates and we always have peace of mind when she walks our pup!
Cara is awesome! Our dog is usually very shy and has even hid from a dog walker in the past. She did great with Cara for some walks during the day though. Cara also provided updates and pictures that put us at ease.

I have a large, fully enclosed patio with a turf yard perfect for easy potty breaks or to play in the sunshine. The enclosed outdoor area is always fully accessible to your pet with the exception of bedtime during overnight stays.

I am looking forward to meeting you and your dog! I am always more than happy to do a meet and greet before we work together. I want to ensure that you and your pet are comfortable. :) Please let me know if there is anything I should be aware of regarding your pet before I start my work. Examples include: medications, allergies, quirks, triggers, good with other dogs, etc. For all boarding & daycare stays, please note that my friendly dog and potentially another pet may be present. This being the case, I ask that all dogs are: -spayed/neutered -house trained (accidents happen- that's okay!) -crate trained preferred or non-destructive/no separation anxiety if not -gets along with other dogs

I know what it's like to miss your pet when you're gone so expect frequent updates with pictures showing you how much fun they are having!

Availability
I work fully from home on my own schedule with lots of time to give love and attention to your furry friend! I am available to walk or board dogs most days of the week. Please reach out to check my current availability and I'm sure I can meet your needs. Your pet is always free to play in the fully-fenced outdoor area with my friendly dog and will have many opportunities to go on walks to get exercise. My dog is always looking for a new buddy or walking partner! Since I work from home, your dog will rarely be left alone. If I must run out for a brief errand, I will never be gone for more than 2 hours. Our home is comfortable with A/C and cameras to monitor while gone. Crates are also available to use if your pet is crate trained. Additionally, I am willing to travel to pick-up and drop-off your pet for an additional fee.
